DVD Fab 9 & older computers

The user interface is beautiful, but DVD Fab 9 is just too much for a lot of older computers with XP and a gig or so of RAM. It will occasionally lock up when trying to select a folder to rip to, or a source to rip from. The program will also start to refuse to rip a DVD without converting it to a phone or pad format. Uninstalling & reinstalling will fix this for a couple of uses. If DVD Fab 8 would continue to be supported & updated I would buy that one for older computers with XP. My reference is multiple users & six towers, no laptops.

It does help me a lot.

I need a dvd ripper to put my dvd collection onto blanks that could be read by cheap dvd players that are in kids rooms as well as be put in to one of the new notebooks you know like western digital. But many of my dvd movies are copy protected. When I searched some information,I noticed this DVDFab DVD Ripper tool.It does help me a lot.

DVDFab 9 an appalling interface

I have been using DVDFab now for five years. Love it. Then I downloaded DVDFab 9. The new GUI is appalling and confusing. A product like DVDFab's main strength is the ability to plug in and go. It is a means to an end, not the endpoint. With DVDFab 9 I can't get the ripper to offer any profile other than ripping audio, now matter what I try with different sources. I can't edit video settings or editing them is beyond anything on the screen. I want to select my source, a profile and quickly, if I choose, change the video output settings and click go. If it isn't simplified by the time they eventually roll completely to 9 then that's a customer lost. Incredibly frustrating.

At first,I am a free user and try the product DVDFab 9 for a period of 30 days. I use the ripper mode most.For every disk, I want to rip, DVDFab will provide some automatic default settings.It gives me one impression that even a user who does not have basic knowledge about video ripping and just wants to save the DVD movie to his hard disk can directly click on the start button after configuring the destination folder for the output file. The files can be ripped easily and quickly onto the hard drive.I love this great tool very much.

Up to now, DVDFab dvd ripper is the most useful dvd tool i've ever uses. The ripping speed is really fast. Back up your DVDs and convert them to various mobile formats with this utility. It's worth the extra cost to have both functions in one easy-to-use program.
